I can't know the solution. My wife stayed home to care for our kids when they were young. That stopped as the last went into primary school and the older ones could assist. And yes, the income hit hurt. OTOH, she never wanted to become a CEO. Sad to say but our biology requires two to create and the aggressive hunter finds the game as the less aggressive one tends the garden. Somehow that model has worked for eons and our attempts to alter it will frustrate us all. IMHO our governments should do all they can to promote that model, agreeing a team does better work. I think some jobs, like a stockbroker are even better if done by females with financial skills - no testosterone, just logic.

Somehow, we take a model of work from the past and try to reuse it now promoting women as cheap labor. Might be more expensive to our kids. Re-imagine bushiness?
